Words from Mend Circle members…

“Most importantly, I have learned that I am not alone in my feelings or confusion.”

“We are not alone, our resilience is astounding and our pain is shared.”

Each Friday we will gather virtually for a grounded, mindful moment. Rachel will prepare themes and conversation to guide, process and hold space for our shared experiences. Circle with an intimate group to create relationships, greater meaning and healing together.

The Mend Circle launched in Fall 2023 as a space to gather for all of us processing the ever challenging events of the world around us.

As it has evolved, the Mend Circle has become a therapeutic space for connection, healing and coming together over our shared identities and celebrated differences.

Topics include

  • Processing current events and how they impact our lives and relationships.

  • Historical trauma, how and where it lives for us today.

  • Building tolerance for holding many feelings, truths and ideas at once.

  • The complexity of identity and evolving sense of self and history.

Sessions include space for sharing and reflection, somatic exercises led by Rachel and exchange of supportive resources.

Why Mend?

The Hebrew phrase tikkun olam (pronounced tee-KOON oh-LUHM) means "world repair." In modern circles, it has become synonymous with the notion of social action and the pursuit of social justice.
